What you need

On a Mac: macOS 13 or later, on a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer).
On Windows: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Adobe Lightroom Classic 15.
A Chatty Chad account: sign up with your email address. It starts with 50 free credits; after those, a plan.

What the installer does

On a Mac

Puts Chatty Chad in your Applications folder.
Puts the plug-in in Lightroom Classic’s Modules folder, for everyone who uses the Mac.
Restart Lightroom Classic afterwards. Then select a photo and press Control-B.
To repair or update Chatty Chad, run the installer again.

To remove it, run the uninstaller. It removes the app, the plug-in and the Chatty Chad settings folder. The Mac stays listed on your devices until you sign it out there.

On Windows

Needs no administrator password: Chatty Chad goes in your user’s Programs folder and the plug-in in your user’s Lightroom Modules folder.
Restart Lightroom Classic afterwards. Then select a photo and choose File > Plug-in Extras > Open Chatty Chad.
To repair or update Chatty Chad, run the installer again.

To remove it, uninstall Chatty Chad from Settings > Apps. The computer stays listed on your devices until you sign it out there.
